A Community Conversation About Justice with Rebecca Wells

Join us for an evening of music and conversation about justice with #1 New York Times Bestselling Author, Rebecca Wells.

Rebecca believes narrative is everything. Point of view is everything. Safety for our children and our community is everything.

When the narrative involves a son being fatally shot in the back by a police officer, Rebecca wants us to hear the voice of his mother tell the story.

Please come to this evening of listening and sharing.

A Day in the Life of Community Oversight

Oversight Now is pleased to offer:

A Day in the Life of Community Oversight

What impact has Oversight had on Denver?
What is the Department's Role in High Profile Cases?
How does a complaint work it's way through the system?

We welcome Gianina Irlando, the Community Relations Ombudsman for Denver's Office of the Independent Monitor to give us a glimpse of how an Oversight Board impacts a city and it's institutions.

These and other questions will be answered and a Q&A period will follow.
